Andras Bozsik

András Pál Bózsik, PhD candidate, is the founder and Managing Director of Lyme Diagnostics Ltd. and a long-standing advocate for innovation in Lyme disease diagnosis and prevention. With a background spanning biophysics, marketing, and European project development, he has spent over two decades bringing complex scientific and healthcare innovations to market, including leading the development of the DualDur reagent—a single-point screening diagnostic for Lyme borreliosis. He has held senior leadership and advisory roles across public and private sectors, supporting successful Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe initiatives, and currently serves as a senior consultant in EU-funded project development. In parallel, he has worked pro bono for the Lyme Borreliosis Foundation since 2001, advancing education, prevention, and high-accuracy diagnostic and treatment solutions.
