Binita Kane

Dr. Binita Kane is a Consultant in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine with 25 years of NHS experience and the founder of The Long COVID Clinic, established in October 2022 to provide specialist-led, holistic care for people living with Long COVID, Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), and other infection-associated chronic conditions. Affiliated with the University of Derby, the clinic is developing real-world research for publication, while Dr. Kane is also a dedicated patient advocate, ambassador for the ThereForMe campaign, and champion for Long COVID Kids and Long COVID Support, as well as the creator of an educational YouTube channel focused on accessible, evidence-based patient empowerment. She is a member of UK Independent SAGE, an executive member of the World Health Network Long COVID Advisory Committee, a clean-air campaigner, and part of a UK government task-and-finish group working to improve NHS services for people with ME.
