Gerald Simons, PA

Dr. Gerry Simons, in collaboration with Dr. Joe Burrascano, helped pioneer SPECT scanning & cephalosporin therapy . He received the Turn the Corner award (Global Lyme Alliance) for his approach to endosymbionts & biofilms. Since 2006 he has been at The Morrison Center. He worked with East Hampton Medicine on the Bay Area Lyme biobank. He is a founding advisor to the Stony Brook Southampton Hospital Regional TBD Center. A professor at Stony Brook, he teaches & has IRB research on Lyme & TBDs & was a 2023 ILADS poster presenter.
