James Neuenschwander

James Neuenschwander, MD (aka Dr. Neu) is a physician in private practice in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is a clinician who is board certified in Integrative and Holistic Medicine and has a retired board certification in Emergency Medicine. For the past 38 years, he has specialized in treating chronically ill children and adults with all means available and with the philosophy of treating illness at its source. He become the physician for those who have not been helped by anything else. For the past twenty years, he has also incorporated the care of chronically ill children, including those with autism, into his practice and is not the president of the Medical Academy of Pediatrics and Special Needs. He has spoken both nationally in the US as well as internationally on the topics of the importance of gut health, immune health, and mitochondrial health in the management of chronic illnesses.
