Saba Niaz

Saba Niaz is a PhD researcher in Biotechnology at Teesside University, undertaking research focused on developing innovative diagnostic strategies for Lyme disease. Her project explores a 3D paper-based CQDs-MIP sensor and an aptamer-SERS platform for the detection of the OspC protein. She holds an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s degree in Nanomedicine for Drug Delivery, completed across several leading European institutions, as well as a Master’s degree in Infectious Diseases from the University.
